I generally enjoy a dark roast - just don't use as much of it as a lighter roast or mix a lighter roast with it just for something different. But this - I'm giving it away to somebody who wants to try it. Glad I only got it as the free samplers (twice, unfortunately). A strong rich coffee is great when fresh - but I didn't enjoy it even fresh.

This is my favorite flavor. It is dark and rich but is not bitter at all. I drink my coffee black, so it has to be smooth with no oily film. My husband adds cream & sugar, so his has to have enough flavor to still be able to taste the coffee after he has 'doctored' it. This roast fits the bill for both of us.

This coffee is delightful! I have tried a dozen or so of Boca's different roasts but this may be the smoothest taste of any. My wife (a Kona fan) agrees and we can hardly wait for the coffee to finish to enjoy it! I am a dark roast fan (think Light Up Los Olas) but I do like this roast and recommend it very highly!

For a regular, routine morning coffee, South Beach Rhythm wins "hands down" for me! I can never get tired of the unique flavor--the dark roast has a smooth, one-of-a-kind flavor that compares to no other. I personally prefer this choice over any other coffee I have tried--thank you, Boca Java, for a "major hit"!!
