We have ordered from Boca Java before and were pleased with the product. This hazelnut, although very tasteful and mile seems to be a little too light in the roast which requires that more coffee be used to attain the desired strength after brewing. We are already on a coffee plan which we have had for the past 18-20 years so we are quite sensitive to a good quality coffee; we intend to continue ordering the Boca Java product in bean form to ensure the freshness and flavor we are looking for in our coffee.

WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE COFFEE WE DRINK. MY WIFE AND I START OUR DAYS WITH A 12CUP POT. I USUALLY TAKE ABOUT 2/3s OF THAT WITH ME FOR MORNING CUP AND THROUGH THE DAY. FREQUENTLY WE WILL MAKE A HALF POT AT NIGHT, SOMETIMES WITH DINNER, AND SOMETIMES JUST TO HAVE SOME COFFEE. SO, THE COFFEES WE CHOOSE ARE IMPORTANT. INITIALLY WE HAD BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE HIGHTIDE HAZELNUT, ONE OF MY WIFE'S FAVORITES. UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE NOTICED OVER THE LAST 6 MONTHS THAT BOTH THE AROMA AND THE FLAVOR HAS CHANGED, TO US MARKEDLY SO. AT FIRST WE THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAVE JUST AN ISSUE WITH A COUPLE OF BATCHES, BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE, AND IT IS WITH BOTH THE REG. AND THE DECAF. SO, AT THIS POINT, WE WILL NOT ORDER THE HIGHTIDE HAZELNUT AGAIN, NOR RECOMMEND IT.
