Palm Beach Passion Coffee

Details
Slightly sweet, remarkably smooth. A light and dark combination of roasted South American Arabica beans blended together for rich, full-bodied flavor. The marriage of light and dark roasts produces this aromatic coffee for a full body with soft chocolate undertones, offering a slightly sweet, smooth finish. It's one of our most popular gourmet coffees. If you enjoy our Palm Beach Passion coffee, our Roastmaster suggests you also try our Coastal Costa Rica coffee.Roast Indicator

I was most surprised when I first sampled this particular coffee. Unusually good...I thought. With my 2nd cup of this coffee along with my wife's first...she moaned with delight and asked me what coffee was this?
In our opinion (having enjoyed some of the best coffees from around the world) this is every bit as good as some of the Gevalia coffees and most of Unique Coffee Roaster's South American specialties. Not better...but equally as good.
This is a prize winner. To make our skimmy 8 ounces last longer, we blended it with one of Unique Coffee Roaster's South American specialties (off hand, I can't remember which one). We sampled straight Palm Beach Passion against the one we blended. Good mix! Had everything we enjoyed from the original, plus a heavier aroma and smoothness.
I would recommend this coffee to anyone that knows how good great coffee can taste (such as Gevalia). The only coffee that we have ever enjoyed that beats all the ones from South American...is the rich and full bodied Kona coffee from Hawaii (and enjoyed in a restaurant garden at the hotel resort we stay at while vacationing in Maui, Hawaii. More like a food beverage than a hot coffee drink. We would enjoy drinking at least 4 or 5 cups every morning and again at dinner. Boy! Is it expensive! Don't try the blends, I found nothing but big disappointment in all the blends we tried.

I drink unflavored coffee-black no sugar.
The aroma in the package was teriffic, but the brewed coffee was a bit of a letdown.
I use filtered water, grind my own beans, and filter through unbleaced paper filters.
Does anyone remember the way coffee brewing would fill the room with the aroma, and that aroma in the cup was the same, as you passed it under your nose??

Comments about Boca Java Palm Beach Passion Coffee:
Like the title says...suprisingly balanced. I wasn't sure about this coffee, b/c of the combination of light & dark roast, but it's actually not too bad. Not my ultimate favorite, but I'm not dissappointed about buying it. It definately leans more towards the darker side of roast, than lighter, but I wouldn't call it a medium roast. I'd call it Other!
