Excellent smooth nutty flavor.
Another wonderful coffee I got this as a sample with my order and I enjoyed it so much can't wait for another one to send to a friend he loves coffee and I know he will enjoy this one as much as I did Excellent coffee smooth taste,wonderful aroma pleaseing taste can't go worng with this one. When I had my first cup in the morning what a treat and the aroma filled the whole house,wonderful.

Good Coffee
I ordered this coffee as a sample with my regular shipment and brewed it in the morning, as is my custom. I used it a while back and thought it was good but honestly don't remember that much about it. I think maybe it was a bit darker roast than I prefer. I prefer the Coastal Costa Rica that I usually use.

Cons: it had a sour taste I associate with cheap coffee. I was surprised, because Guatemala Antigua is one of my favorites. Perhaps it was the universal grind that Boca Java uses. I use espresso grind for all my coffee uses--the very fine grind allows full flavor to develop.
Suggestion to Boca Java: Offer a fine grind, not just "univeral grind" or whole beans.
