Very cool contraption. For a quick one cupper this thing is perfect. It won't keep your cup warm so don't let it sit. Careful with the swinging hot water dispenser. You have to push it over the water tank to put in the basket and coffee so you MUST remember to swing it back over the basket. Yikes! I had a nice steam room effect going the first time around. Other than that for the price it's very nice, fast and fun to use.

I made the mistake of selecting this free gift. I used it a couple of times and then had to dispose of it. I'm not hard to please, but this really was useless. Agonizingly slow compared to any drip coffee maker I've ever used. And the finished product, the coffee, was thus not at all good. I was very disappointed that I wasted my opportunity to get a gift from Boca Java.

I use this when everyone else wants coffee and I just want tea. I don't have to make a huge pot, I can make a large cup of tea or coffee. If I want I can make hot water for hot chocolate. I love this, space saving and easy to use.

Need to heat the water before adding it to the machine. The coffee is barely warm when brewed with room temp water. This eliminates the option to use the timer. I put it away and brought out my old maker, leaving the one cupper for back up.

I make one cup a day. I like that it makes one cup of coffee. But it does not get hot enough for a good cup of coffee. The coffee is said to be good but with the water not getting hot enough it just don't make a good cup of coffee.

When all I want is one cup of coffee, it's great to use the one-cup coffee maker instead of using the big 10 cup coffee maker I have. As well, there are some days when I don't want coffee, but just a cup of tea or hot chocolate. The one-cup coffee maker is perfect! I've been wanting one for a while because I don't like to waste coffee, and most of the time, I'm making coffee just for me. Thanks Boca Java for such a great and useful product!

It beats brewing a pot that has to be rinsed out afterwards. We wake up at 4 every morning and I can brew a cup in a couple of minutes. When my wife wakes up her cup is freshly brewed and she loves it! No complaints here!
