I've been looking everywhere for this pot. I need to replace one that's given me faithful service for at least 4 years. I love that I can use the permanent filter and not have to worry about paper filters. It makes a decent pot of coffee quickly and without a lot of bother. I also have an espresso machine, a french press and a french drip pot, which I use for more intense, 'dedicated' coffee drinking, but for that first cup in the morning when I'm still in 'Zombie' mode, this is my 'go-to' pot. I may end up trying to perform surgery on the one I have, but I'd order another one anyhow, just to have on hand for when the inevitable day comes that this one finally gives up the ghost.

I especially like having a permanent, washable filter for a 4-cup coffeemaker. A problem I am having with the De'Longhi 4-cup Coffeemaker is that coffee from the carafe drips onto the countertop whenever I pour a cup of coffee. This is disappointing.
