This is the best coffee I have ever had and I love the hourglass maker. I had a small leak from mine but I called the Hourglass people and they replaced a gasket and not one drop has escaped me since. The product is wonderful and it's great to see a company stand behind their product too.
Can't wait for my coffee each morning, it's so smooth and I use it for both hot and iced coffee.

The coffee taste's great, and the lack of acid is great for my day. I hope they make a slightly better seal on the next unit. I get a small leak after I flip it. I use a paper towel under it.

It certainly works as advertised. It's easy to use, but make sure that you use coarse ground coffee (avoid the pre-ground stuff in the stores). The coffee is makes is smooth and very tasty. I use it for (good) coffee at work. Just add hot water and it's ready.
The only problem I had with it is that it's bit hard to seal tightly, so it leaked a bit when I emptied it. No big mess, but more than a few drops.

The cold brew coffee is smooth with very little bitter taste. It is the coffee best I have tasted. If you like creamers then you only have to use a fraction of what you used for hot brew and the coffee is excellent black also. The only cons are the long brew time which is easily overcome as long as you remember to start brewing the day before so you will never run out of coffee and mine leaks a little at at the seal when pouring or turning over.

I use a different system that can brew more at once, but I have read some good review on this system. Cold-brewed is the only way I will drink my coffee if I have any choice. I even have family and coworkers hooked. I have my own "coffee house" at my desk at work for my team and the will not go near the breakroom stuff now.
It is so easy, and the coffee "concentrate" stays good for a couple weeks, if it lasts that long. Just add hot or cold water to the concentrate for the best cup of coffee ou will ever drink!
I also pretty much only use Boca Java blends now, they are by far the best!

My husband and I love this coffee. The lower acidity makes it much easier for my coffee lover husband to drink this. I love that I can heat some water in my tea kettle and have coffee...or I can have a great iced coffee. I love the design because we have 3 children coming into the kitchen and if they would knock it over it won't spill. :-)

Best iced coffee I have ever had. So easy to use as well as cleanup. One brew cycle made enough concentrate to last me a whole week. I recommend this to any coffee drinker!
