Coffee culture in this country has improved a lot over the last years. Still, what's not completely understood is what a big difference freshly ground coffee beans make to the taste. It's the defining element in the coffee brewing process, next to the quality of the beans, the roast, the water, and the coffee maker. The C-Mill electric coffee grinder has a very strong and precise motor. The coffee beans don't get crushed but cut in record time - important so that the coffee taste is well preserved.The C-Mill grinds 1.6 oz of coffee at a time.

Likes-can control the grind texture
-top is easy to open and clear to see into
the grind
-not too loud (still makes noise, but the dogs don't run from it)
Dislike- the cord is stored in the bottom of the grinder, have only a small plastic line to grip to access the cord. If you have arthritis or grip problems, this is not easy. We never store the cord back into the grinder because it is too hard to get open. Once it is opened, you don't have to store the cord.

Simply ineffective
Overall product appears to be designed and constructed poorly with cheap materials. I can actually squeeze the outside and the power cord appears very thin and easily breakable. Does not hold many beans. Makes a mess trying to remove the ground coffee. Awful electronic burning smell when grinding. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have used other coffee grinders. Some don't grind to the fineness this one does. Grinds more than enough for a pot of coffee and that's all you need at one time for a fresh brew.

I have never owned a grinder that was so easy to use or clean. The tilt to the hopper makes it easy to empty and clean, grind button in the lid instead of on the unit makes it so much safer because it won't work unless the lid is on, no more worry about accidently cutting fingers. I love this thing!

This is a straight forward bean grinder. Simple to use. Simple to clean. Has a self storing cord, which is a plus.

I have used more expensive grinders that didn't come close to Boden C-Mill. I consider this product a "great" find.
Why I didn't give a "five" rating? Would like to see the grinder in colors like: Red, Green, Yellow, Lilac, Purple, Etc.

This little grinder is both capable of a larger quantity of coffee than the Braun grinder that we just retired. And it's quiet too, which, can't be said of the Braun. The Braun upset the feline occupants of our home.

It is a lot quieter than my old one, the cap has no cup in it so you have to pour your coffee out of grinder not the cap. That took a while to get used to!
