Better than any I have had!
I sometimes would have to leave my coffee sitting for 2 or 3 hours before I could drink it at work. I was pleased to find my coffee still somewhere between warm & hot! Any other travel mug I have had it was room temperature by then.
I have also tried it on cold drinks with ice. It's great! It still has ice cubes even after a few hours! Great travel mug or around the house.

Does not keep coffee hot
Since it was described as vacuum insulated, I had hoped it would keep my coffee hot. Even though I preheated the tumbler with hot water first, by the time I drove to work (20 mins) and got settled at my desk, the coffee was luke warm at best. The plastic lid was quite hot and apparently is how the heat escapes. It needs a tight screw-on metal lid. Also, even though carried upright and slide was closed, and wasn't totally full, liquid does slosh out of the the slide. Very dissapointed and probably won't...Read complete review

I bought 2 and have been unable to use them as the lids stink! They also taste as bad as they smell! I have washed the lids everyway I know how and the chemical oily taste and smell remain. I guess they keep coffee hot cause you can't go near it to drink it! Glad they were on clearance.

I use this tumbler for both hot and cold beverages and it works great with each in that the insulation provides what you need. I do wish it was dishwasher safe though!
