This is an extraordinary tea! I'm primarily a dark coffee (black, two sugars) and Earl Grey tea drinker (or was...now I have this) and I found the earthy/malty tones similar to Earl Grey, but the raisin (and NOT 'fruity-sweet') tones are very similar to a well-aged, expensive cabernet sauvignon wine. Incredibly smooth on the palate with a wonderful finish. If you like a well-aged cabernet or port, you'll adore this tea.
