Since we went to Hawaii, my husband and I have been a fan of Kona coffee, preferably 100% rather than the blend. We brought some back from Hawaii and have tried a few brands since that are still good even if not as good (maybe being in Hawaii made it taste better ☺). This was very smooth and we've enjoyed the fresh flavor. It's pricey but it's a treat.

I was so looking forward to some fresh roasted Kona. I haven't found anything to rival its robust, rich flavor since leaving the islands 15 years ago. Unfortunately what I received for [$]lb delivered was less flavorful than the discount Arabica beans I purchase locally for less than [$]/lb. Your are welcome to try again. We have gotten Hawaiian Kona coffee straight from Hawaii twice before and it didn't taste at all like this. This one tasted like darkened water with absolutly no flavor. We kept adding more and more coffee to the filter-with no better results.We were very disappointed.

My husband & I don't normally like the same coffee .. I like Black coffee with milk in it sometimes .. where as he likes flavored coffees with cream and sugar in it every time! But this is one we Both enjoy! He still puts cream and sugar in his and I still put milk some times in mine, but we can set the pot to start at 7am every morning with this one and BOTH be very pleased when we get up to get our morning coffee!

I from San Diego and spent some time on the West Side of the Big Island otherwise known as Kona. I tasted fresh kona coffee and I have to say this is NOT authentic Kona Coffee. I know its not Extra fancy. I found a better Kona Coffee supplier called Kona Mountain Coffee, you can get real Extra fancy for less than $30/lb. This stuff is way too pricey and too fake.

I've tried several different coffee's that "Claim" to be Kona, only to find that they are a "blend", or perhaps the person that owns the beanery once flew over Kona, but this is the real McCoy!

A delicate, light flavor that literally dances on your tongue. A most pleasant experience, and a great relief from the many over-roasted, dark, "smokey" beans that seem to define the neuvo coffee personna.

A most reasonable price for a rare, and wonderful experience.

Both our children honey-mooned in Hawaii and brought back pure Kona coffee for us. I had forgotten just how good Kona was. You can buy Kona coffee in prepackaged bags in stores but the age of that coffee is suspect, and sometimes is blended with other coffees, probably to keep the price "within reason." Having fresh-roasted coffee of this caliber is surely a treat, and we have shared it with our wonderful children and their spouses. It is worth the price! Thank you for having this coffee in your selection.

If you like Blue Mountain coffee, but need something a little less expensive then this is the coffee for you! Since it is a LIGHT roast I was a bit skeptical about the body of this coffee. If you like dark roast or frensh roast coffee then this is not the right coffee for you. It is not as expense of an indulgence as Jamaican Blue Mountain and so I would recommned it to those who enjoy Blue Mountain coffee. It is not as "perfect" a cup as Blue Mountain, but there is a reason that Kona is also a coffee lover's dream. It is very smooth cup of joe!

Tried Kona in Hawaii so I will always associate it with a great place to visit.
BUT is the coffee worth the price? Boca has many more coffees fully the equal of Kona. But if you want to tell guests you are serving Kona to impress them, well that's one reason for the price. Its all about supply and demand.

Boca sells Extra Fancy which is considered the very best of the four grades which are (Extra Fancy, Fancy, Select, & Prime).

have only tried once but was nice tasting coffee. Kona has a complex flavor so can take some getting used to if you haven't had it in a while.
