The chocolate notes in this coffee were very overt and almost tasted as though they had been added. The roast was good but could have been a very slight bit darker. I feel your Sumatran Sunset is an ideal medium roast as it gets just to a slight oil which is at the point that the beans lose the "green" bean bitterness. Overall, an enjoyable coffee

I've been trying a different variety of coffees from Boca Java and this is one of the more pleasing. Very aromatic and has a wonderful coffee taste. Not watery or bitter at all. In my experience, most coffee tastes best when brewed in 200-203.5 degree water. This Kenyan tastes good when brewed at lower temperatures, also. I like the complex flavors and the medium body, and it's perfect at breakfast. It's one of my favorite Boca Java coffees.
