I prefer dark roasts and this is the darkest roast offered by Boca Java. It's full bodied and strong without the burnt taste you so often get from inferior dark roasts.

This is one of my favorite coffees - the flavor is so rich and the odor is heavenly!

I drink it all day long, every day - brewed very strong with non-dairy and sugar or Splenda.

I also like sweetened iced espresso.

Brewed extremely strong and made into a syrup, a little drizzle livens up chocolate cake, ice cream, bananas, etc.

Ground very fine, it is delicious in homemade fudge, brownies with walnuts or chocolate cake.

I used to drink French Roast or Italian Roast made from fresh ground beans I purchased at a coffee shop or gracery store. This coffee is better and much more consistent in flavor, probably due to freshness. We have free coffee at work, but I take a thermos of Light Up Las Olas from home. I recently switched from regular to decaf, and the decaf doesn't have quite as much body as regular, so I have to use a little more.

All of the dark roasts that I order from Boca Java are exceptional. The *most* exceptional quality that they share is that none of them tastes any different as a decaf than they did in their full caffeine states. Most other coffees I've tried have lost some vibrancy when I transitioned to decaf, a huge blow to someone like me, who calls coffee her "drug of choice." These taste full and rich and delicious.
