I'm generally not a fan of pumpkin pie spice flavored coffee because, for some reason, many companies think it's a good idea to add actual pumpkin flavor instead of just spices. Contrary to what these companies believe, pumpkin and coffee do not go together. Boca Java, thank goodness, just adds spice flavor to their coffee, making a pleasantly flavored holiday coffee instead of liquid pumpkin. Very good stuff!

My wife and I have been buying Pumpkin Paradise for years because we love this coffee. In our most recent orders of it, the flavor has been off and we've been absolutely disappointed by it. It's usually smooth and spicy and tastes delicious. We stock up on it. But, this year, I bought 4 bags of it to start and was ready to trash the entire shipment after the 2nd cup. The coffee was week and the spice was off. It smelled strongly of coriander which didn't seem like it should be in the coffee. I added a little cinnamon and nutmeg to a pot to improve the flavor and it helped but it never needed that in the past. I contacted Boca Java about my concerns and I was assured the coffee is made the same and use the same ingredients as it always has. So, I ordered 2 more bags and am still very disappointed. While the two latest bags are a little better, they aren't much better ... and they still aren't the Pumpkin Paradise we fell in love with. Overall, we're very disappointed this year.

Always seem to prefer flavored coffees so I try your new ones or seasonal when available. Only brew in a cheap drip coffee maker but do like to grind beans as opposed to ground. Always use 1/2 and 1/2. Enjoyed but will most likely not reorder like I do my favorites, Blueberry and Banana Foster.

The packaging is very nice, and convenient to seal for freshness. It is fresh ground coffee. Great for gifts, but personally, I prefer a strong flavor and aroma when added to the coffee taste (vanila, hazelnut, etc.)

Boca Java has a great pumpkin coffee. I buy it several times each year during the Fall season. I mix the beans with a little dark roast before grinding to boost the light coffee to a deeper flavor, but the pumpkin flavor and aroma remain.

This coffee gave me what I was hoping for--the smell and taste of the holidays. Warm pumpkin spice smell when I lift my cup to inhale as the subtle taste of pumpkin pie rolls around on my tongue. Coming to the top of the stairs after my first pot had brewed (thanks to automatic timer), I felt like it was Thanksgiving. It is the perfect flavor/aroma to usher in the harvest and holiday gatherings, a time that is very important to me. Smells associate with our memories, and I'm sure this coffee will be part of my tradition for years to come (so you have to continue making it for me). I actually mix it 1:2, using a dark unflavored roast for the single scoop. It is still satisfying to me. PS-Try it with Vanilla (coffee or creamer), it's the "whipped cream" on the top!

I love this product. The only thing I would change is the "roast" of it. I usually use half and half-1/2 Pumpkin Paradise, 1/2 dark roast like expresso roast--my ultimate coffee choice! Other than that there is nothing to change about it!

This blend is a personal favorite of mine. I wait for it to come out each year so I can get it. The aroma is sensational and smells like a pumpkin pie. The flavor is truely a treat with its pumpkin flavor and cinnamon as well. It is definetly worth the wait.

I aways brew coffee with a French press. With Pumpkin Paradise I add a spoonful of sugar and a couple tablespoons of half & half (I don't actually measure).

This coffee is so satisfying as a desert or just when I am relaxing. The spicy mix is very pleasing to wake up to on weekend mornings, too. I don't have time to make coffee before work, so the weekend is the time for my leisurely breakfast.
Even though the spice is a little stronger this year than what I remember from 2007, I still love it.

We served it to some friends from out of town and they thoroughly enjoyed the coffee. I personally love all things autumn and I enjoyed the aroma of this coffee, it was truly mouthwatering; however, it was a bit disappointing when consumed. My wife complained that it burned her throat a little. It was, overall, OK. We probably would not purchase it again, there are better choices available.
