Ordinarily, I do not like strong blends of coffees. However, this blend, although stronger than I usually drink, is excellent. You get the smooth taste of a milder coffee, but yet you taste the rich flavor of a stronger blend. Right now, this is my #1 favorite from Boca Java!

We use an automatic drip maker coffee pot. I like strong coffee, so I tried adding an extra 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. My wife prefers a more average-to-slightly weak cup of coffee. Neither of us could find a good balance with Guatemalan Adventure(GA). We have finished two bags and both agree that the flavor is somewhat flat at best. Despite the description, GA simply does not match the quality of the Sumatran or Boca Villa coffees. Sorry, mission NOT accomplished. This rocket barely left the launch pad. It's time to return to the hangar and try again.

I am not a heavy coffee drinker consequently I want the coffee to be really special when I do drink it. I liked this blend right off the bat because it has a smooth finish. I've tried it with the whole beans and ground and actually think when I order it ground that it has better flavor.

I use the product whenever I have the time to just sit and have coffee and I use regular store coffee for regular morning and evening coffee. I ordered this because I thought it would be the same as the one I had prior from Cafe Belmondo; however, I'm really disappointed that it's not. I hope that you bring back that same Guatemalan beans from Cafe Belmondo; it's a lot better than this one.

I'm a coffee purist; don't like milk, cream, lattes, and other junk dumped into my coffee, so the beans have to make it work. This has a surprisingly pleasing mellowness to it with a hint of something a little bit nutty. After taste, if any, is that nuttiness on the tongue. I've switched from what I was previously ordering on a periodical order to this, it's so good.

I brew to the directions, and find it just to my liking. It has a delightful aroma, and the taste matches it nicely. I tried your coffee some time ago, and was disappointed, because of overtones of burnt beans. The new coffees I've tried have been much better and greatly improved. As an alternative to the Boca Sunrise Blend, I like to drink this as my am coffee. Coffees with Arabica beans often are mistreated when companies roast them and as a result of this, they taste bitter and unpalatable. This is not the case with the roasters at your company. They know how to make the flavor of Arabic beans sing with pleasure both in my nose and in my mouth.

I use exclusively a grind and breew coffeepot, and am fomd of a nutty, fresh, aromatic lighter roast, fresh bean. This bean fills all those tastes. Don't byr this if you like a dark roasted coffee - this might not be for you. If youlike an aromatic, fresh, nutty taste, this coffee shines.

Great with Frangelico or Bailey's. Awesome with Glenlivet and whipped cream!

I have always felt the best flavored coffee bean comes from Guatemala, and to drink a cup of this rich roast, you will agree. If you just want a good, plain cup of coffee, this is it! You won't find any better. I love flavored coffees, but sometimes you just want a good cup of coffee! I only use a French Press, but I'm sure it would be great prepared in any manner. Enjoy!

I lean towards strong, European style coffee. This blend is full bodied without bitterness. Great aroma and the beans did not leave oils in my grinder. A great alternative to my favorite Columbian.

On those mornings when it's harder to wake up, Guatemalan Adventure fills the bill quite nicely. I like to mix my coffees and this plus Boca Sunrise was an immediate favorite of mine.

well-balanced medium bodied coffee. Not as much complexity or subtlety as I prefer. I tend to prefer blends over single bean. I also make cappucino almost exclusively. The crema does not last. This is not the best espresso coffee. I suspect it would be better for drip or French press.

This coffee quickly become one of my top 5 favorites. Smooth and aromatically pleasing, this coffee is a great roast with robust flavor and not too acidic. Great for when you want a bolder flavor without the "burnt" aftertaste.

We are using this coffee for our new Bunn coffee maker at work. We thought the Bunn just brewed a bad cup of coffee until we tried this and realized it was just the coffes we were using. Everyone who tried it loved it. No aftertaste or bitterness and roasted perfectly.

This isn't bad coffee but it's ordinary and at these prices if I wanted Foldgers or average coffee I'd have bought it at the super market.

But then I love dark, robust, spicy, etc. so maybe for someone else ---- it's a fit.

My wife had no comment, she didn't know she was drinking one of my ordered coffee's that to me says it all.

First of all I love coffee in general but this is by far my favorite everyday coffee.
For those that think it too weak - most likely that is due to the grind being too coarse.
The strength of coffee of course depends on how fine the grind is, not just the amount of coffee you use..
If the coffee is not strong enough but you do not like a Bold roast flavor, try getting whole bean and grinding it a little finer for a stronger more satisfying cup!

On a daily basis I make steamed milk and your coffee. Since it is grinded in my Jura Compresso, the manaufacturer recommends beans without oil coatings. Unfortunately most of yours do have and Guat - Adv has less.

I've tried most of Boca Java's darker roasts, and I return to this one again and again. I have yet to find a smoother, more satisfying roast. Also, I find that my creamer blends more readily with Guatemalan Adventure than with other roasts.
