I enjoy drinking decaf coffee, especially at night. Finally, Boca Java has rescued me from the mundane evening cup of Joe. This coffee is perfect for after dinner as a little "treat", an excellent way to brighten the morning, and works well to sip on when relaxing in the tub!

I tried this in my auto drip coffee maker and alos in my espresso coffee maker. I just was disappointed in the flavor. Have the Gevalia German Chocolate coffee and find it to be much more flavorful and true to the name.

I try and try again changing the way I make this coffee but I just can't seem to tone down the bitter taste. I don't seem to be able to taste the chocolate. It also smells to me as if I am grinding a cigar. This is more suited for someone who enjoys a stronger, slightly bitter coffee.

The flavor of this coffee is great, especially to serve/drink as a dessert coffee or with dessert. I served this with rum cake a a dinner party and everyone loved it. The only negative and I'm not sure if it is one since I'm new to decaf, is that it takes more of the grounds to get the coffee to be strong/dark enough. Maybe all decafs are like that, I don't know. I went through the bag too quickly.

I usually mix this with my 'normal' decaf to soften down the flavor a bit, because I always add a bit of creamer. Once I get my concoction made, lookout Starbucks and all those other fancy, take-your-money places! You just can't get enough of this well-balanced flavor. It's great as a dessert coffee, alone, or with something slightly less sweeter.
