I have ordered Boca Java in the past and I was completely satisfied, I also recommended it to many friends. This time around it just wasn't as good,to be more specific all the flavors just taste like regular coffee, you can hardly taste the flavor at all, so I'm disappointed this time around. Did you change the processing some how? Don't get me wrong it's good coffee but it use to be GREAT.

After two whole bean bags of this coffee I think I can write a decent review on this flavor.
I found that compared to commercial brands this coffee does not lose it's chocolate taste while brewing. The chocolate flavor is not so powerful though that it overtakes the other flavors, which I find pleasant.

The only drawback I found is that the roast is a bit on the light side. The reason for four stars as compared to five. I compensate with an extra ounce of beans. A light roast is expected with artisan roasts regardless of company. I would just prefer a slightly stronger one with this particular flavor.

The aroma is pleasant and present. My preference would be to have a stronger aroma. I really enjoy the mouthwatering anticipation of that first cup as I approach the brewer and smell the aroma of a fine coffee.

All in all I like this coffee and will keep it on my list of favorites.

After two bags of whole bean I believe I have drank enough of this coffee to write a decent review of this flavor.
The chocolate flavor of this comes through rather well. It's not so heavy that it totally cancels out the other flavors, which is nice.
This is compared to commercial brands that have a chocolate smell and loose the flavor in brewing.
I did find that the roast to be a little too light. So I add an extra half ounce of beans to compensate. Yet, a majority of artisan roasts, regardless of company, are going to be on the light side to allow a combination of flavors.

The acidity is not overly pronounced. It is remarkably smooth (as is all of Boca Java's coffee I have tried). I will definitely be keeping this coffee in my favorites.

In my experience flavored coffees don't hold the flavor very well. That is not true with this coffee. The chocolate flavor is present, but not overly so. This is a great coffee and I plan on having on my service for a long time.

I don't normally like flavored coffees or what I call foo-foo coffees. I ordered this coffee as a concession to my wife's tastes and since German Chocolate Pie and Cake are my two favorites desserts, I thought maybe I might drink a cup, also. Lo and behold, I've matched her cup to cup through the whole bag. I don't like to add sugar or cream to any coffee and this is one flavored coffee that can be enjoyed black, after dinner in lieu of a sweet dessert. Thank you for the experience!

I don't know how Boca Java does it! I have never had flavored coffees taste much like the flavor it says on the label. this is a nice, sweet chocolate. unfortunately the sweet is too much for me. Be aware that the hint of coconut is really there and if that taste doesn't work for you you won't like this coffee. I would recommend this as a desert coffee - but nothing else.

I'm not a big coconut fan, but this chocolate/coconut flavor is so pleasing to the palate. I love chocolate coffees and this is on my favorite list. I rotate coffees, but try to keep this one on hand. It also makes a great cold coffee over ice with choc syrup and half and half.
