good balance and flavor should measure a litte on the heavy side or loses some flavor punch best cup with a devise called the areopress you put in the coffee put in 2oz water push down with a press and then adjust from expresso strenth to regular cup by adding water to tase overall very nice flavor

This is really good coffee. It smelled absolutely divine and I loved the smooth taste. Goes great with vanilla caramel creamer. Works as both a breakfast coffee and a dessert coffee.

I have always found "flavored coffees" to be an abomination to the coffee purist, and have shared my most "humble opinion" in this regard freely, often without being asked! HA!
When given a choice of samples last month, I ordered the Banana's Foster as something my fiancee might enjoy, but certainly not me.
As so often happens, I ran out of my Boca Java selections mid-month, and found myself choosing between the Bananas Foster, and no coffee at all.
Reluctantly I brewed the sample pack, using only slightly more than half of the contents of their one pot sampler.
I added a bit of half and half, as I often do with my morning coffee... then, I tasted it.
What a wonderful blend of flavors! Nothing overwhelming, but a perfect blend of banana, cinnamon, and a whisper of a tast of Brandy.
I wont drink this for every pot I brew, but I DID order a half-pound, and I feel certain when and IF I opt to share this gem with friends and family, I will be ordering double that in the months to come.
My conclusion... never say never!

A lot of times with coffee that says it's flavored a certain way, I find that it smells great, but really still just tastes like coffee. It's like that experiment where you smell an onion while you bite an apple and so you think you're eating the onion. But this stuff really did have the flamed banana taste. I think I picked up the brown sugar too. This might be my favorite of the 4 flavors I started my club membership with.

I was really looking forward to this out of all the flavors I ordered and found it a bit disappointing in flavor! The flavor was light and not what I hoped for. We served it for an evening dessert coffee after a dinner party and everyone thought it was okay-not bad but not exciting either. The name is more interesting than the flavor. I have other flavors that are favorites in comparison at Boca Java.

Although, I have loved every other Boca Java flavored coffee I have tried, this one just didn't do it for me. I love Banana and was very excited to try this. The flavor is very artificial to me and just generally not good. I also did not like the smell of the coffee at all. I suppose it is probably just a personal preference.

I love this coffee its great hot or cold, I prefer Iced Coffee but it was ground so fine that it would form a muck in the filter and clog, so everytime I make a pot I have to babysit it and smack the filter area until it's done so it continues to run through

I would have never thought that I would like Banana flavor in my coffee. Let me tell you how wonderful of a mix of flavor the Banana Foster is. I drink this all the time. The flavor combination is genius! The initial aroma sensation is delightful - but short lived.
Sadly, it is very weak in flavor, body, and color. It is roasted way too light. I even tried making it MUCH stronger by doubling the amount of coffee per cup, but that was a disappointment too. The flavor depth didn't improve much at all. Overall, it was too much like drinking a weak tea.
I will try it again anyway and use a blend of Foster's with another, unflavored coffee. But I would very much prefer the experience of a deeper roasted Foster's. Any chance of that happening?

Based on the name, I thought it would be too sweet or dessert flavored, but it was wonderful for our morning coffee. The name is misleading since banana if barely tasted. The blend of cinnamon and maple flavor make it smooth and enjoyable. I like light flavored coffee; my husband likes a bolder, stronger coffe and we were both happy with this. If you loved Hound Dog Heaven, this is the next best thing! HDH was the greatest coffee flavor EVER and when it got discontinued I think I cried a little. I know it's strange, but there is something about the richness of the coffee with the subtle sweetness of the banana and brown-sugar/caramel notes that create a beautiful balance. Even my husband, who considers himself to not like flavored coffees, loves this one.

I thought the smell through the bag was just wonderful. However, after brewing it was almost impossible to drink! I found it to be very bitter with high acidity it seemed. The aftertaste was horrible too!

I received a sample of this coffee. You can definately smell and taste the bananas but not in an overbearing way. I love bananas so I loved this coffee. I've never tasted anything like it. It's really great. After trying the sample, I'm buying a regular size bag.

I would never think to flavor my coffee with banana, but it works. It is delicious any time of day - breakfast to dessert. The flavor is bright and tasty and fun. The banana is subtle but definite and is the first flavor I taste. Then the warm sugar, cinnamon and brandy follow and the entire experience is delightful. You guys have better flavors than opi has colors!!

This is not your average cup of Joe. The flavors slowly grab ahold of your tastebuds and then all of a sudden there is a party in your mouth. I loved this coffee, but in time it weakened on the shelf and the banana flavor and coffee taste almost disappeared, I had to use more coffee to make a pot than usual. I'd buy it again, but drink it fast, before the flavor started fading.

You really should not list banana as the first ingredient; this seems to be cinnamon coffee, but with a hint of banana, a far-away hint. There is a little roaster on the main street in Burlington Vermont who does a banana coffee that you will find as the ultimate; I suggest you send your scouts there to find the secret. The coffee is very mild with a pleasing banana flavor ~ tastes as good as it smells.
I used a little less coffee than the recommended amount as I thought it might be too strong for me,
and did not experience any of the bitter aftertaste other reviewers experienced. This was a big hit with the folks at work.

When I ordered Bananas Foster Float it was on a whim. I love flavored coffees but am not really a big banana flavor fan and I could not imagine Banana Coffee. Oh yeah ? It is the absolute best coffee ever. I love it and am in a hurry to get the first morning cup when I know I loaded the machine up with the Banana. My favorite.
