People that enter my home after brewing this one, all comment on the wonderful aroma. This is one of the few flavored coffees that you can both smell and taste the flavor. I wish it had more of a balance between the two flavors, the maple needs a equal kick. The bacon over powers it oh so slightly. It does have a very interesting taste though and I enjoyed it to the bottom of the bag. Boca Java uses an excellent bean that has a fantastic taste. I am still working my way through the flavored varieties as I am hooked on flavored coffees as of late. This one so far is my favorite, most likely because it has flavor and aroma both. Some of the flavors need more flavoring for taste and fall a little flat in the aroma department.

It's the fact that the beans are actually a little sticky from the maple! This was one of those that sounded just weird enough to try, and I'm glad I did.

I get the maple flavor...not so much the bacon, but I just read a review here that said it's not the bacon flavor you're looking for, it's smokiness in the background. Coming at it that way, I might be able to see it.

I make at least one pot of this every day. I love almost all of your flavored coffees, but this one rates at the very top in my book. I'm spoiled as I rarely drink anything but flavored coffees anymore. Knowing this, whenever friends drop by, they always ask what flavor is in the pot. When I tell them it's Maple Bacon Morning, I get ugh's and shrugs until they taste it. That's why I like the comment "Don't judge a book by it's cover" as it fits this one perfectly. The name may sound strange, but it's definitely worth trying.

At first the name threw me off...maple bacon? But once you taste it, there's nothing else like it. It's like a subtle stack of pancakes, without the heavy dough. Hint of maple, not overpowered. Smokey background (not bacony). I love it! I have to drink the office swill during the week, but on the weekend, this is our go-2 coffee all weekend!

First time I used this coffee flavor, I didn't know what to expect. The aroma as it brewed was wonderful. The taste was a wonderful pleasant surprise. However the new bags that I have purchased don't seem to have as much maple flavor as the first. I could be getting used to having it quite often or they reduced the flavor. I was very intrigued by the concept of maple bacon coffee. When I got it today, I ground the beans and popped a pot on. The aroma from the bag reminded me of camping. The sweet aroma with an earthy smoke undertone was wonderful. As it brewed however the smell took on a burnt odor. Nervously, i took my first sip. It has a subtle maple taste to it, and a bit of the woodsmoke flavor remained. But overall it tastes kind of watered down. That could be because I have a preference for mild/strong coffee. I'll drink this until it is gone, but I don't think I'll be ordering it again.

Love the smell but the taste is not what I expect from the usual great Boca Java.

No maple taste at all.
It took me 4 cups to detect a slight maybe burned bacon taste.
Its a light roast so its not offensive.
But the "burned?" aftertaste lingers....

It seems like the Maple Bacon used to have a much stronger flavor and smell to it. I used to mix 1/2 MB and 1/2 Boca Sunrise and the MB flavor was just strong enough, now I'm having it 100% MB and its good but not as strong. My fiance agrees, and in fact I'm drinking some right now. I still like it but its definitely not as strong. In fact I called the last time and said I got the wrong coffee and you sent a replacement N/C but it's not as strong it once was.

I have received endless harassment about having Maple Bacon Coffee ("You have MEAT flavored coffee??") but once it's brewed it just smells fantastic and has a very sweet maple flavor. Hands down my favorite breakfast coffee. You might need to consider what you're actually eating for breakfast - it might not mesh well with some foods.

At first, I thought it sounded like a strange flavor and was expecting a salty meat flavor. I was pleasantly surprised with first the scent. It has a dark smokey/sweet flavor that made me think of camp outs at grandma's house. No bacon flavor, but definately a pleasing smokey flavor and aroma as if it was brewed over an open camp fire. You can definately taste the maple. I can close my eyes and recall hotcakes, bacon and laughter between sips of hot coffee. The only drawback, may be just personal preference. I like really dark heavy coffees and it felt just a little weak. Not quite a dark/rich enough roast to carry the wonderful flavors added. My recommendation to the maker is to use a darker, richer bean. To consumers: TRY THIS! You will not be disappointed.

If I don't order this one every month my wife asks me why...so I can try something new of course. The brewing aroma and finished coffee are excellent. We love this coffee with a blend of french vanilla creamer, low fat half & half, and Splenda. Not one I'd recommend letting guests sniff test, better smelling and tasting the coffee.

I thought this coffee sounded odd but was curious, my husband on the other hand was completely opposed. I switched our regular coffee with the Maple Bacon Morning without his knowledge and low and behold he couldn't quit saying how wonderful it was! I finally let him in on the secret and he was shocked. His comment was "I couldn't imagine "drinking" bacon" Despite the name the coffee is mild and subtle. (maybe a little to subtle. I think the flavor could be amped up a tad) It has a smooth and comforting flavor and we have found it is absolutely perfect for Sunday brunch!! It is also great now that it is near the holidays when we are trying to treat our families to those little "everyday indulgences"!

I bought this first just because of the name. I really enjoyed the aroma that filled my house as it brewed. Neighbors even commented on the aroma. Then I took it with me when I went camping! It was wonderful! The smell of the campfire and Breakfast, what could be better!?!! Maple Bacon Morning has become my all time favorite. It's a very nice aroma to smell as your trying to get camping food cooked and it's great either hot or cold. It's soothing when you sit around the campfire, morning, noon or night. The worst thing is to run out of it when your 800 miles from home! No one else makes anything like it! I take it with me every weekend camping as well as drink it daily while I'm at home.
