I love this coffee anytime throughout the morning and early afternoon. Delicious, mellow, fragrant and almost delicate. I will say, however, that I was expecting something out of this universe, based upon all the hype I've heard over the years about Jamaican Blue, but instead, it's simply a very lovely, enjoyable, good cup of coffee. And honestly, that's good enough for me!

Despite being persona non grata with Boca Java, I feel compelled nonetheless to add my two cents and report that having purchased several different versions of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee over the years from reputable purveyors, this version rates at or near the top. Only J. Martinez & Company can consistently compete. Even when including only genuine 100% Blue Mountain coffees for comparison, they unfortunately and for reasons I do not understand, do not exhibit uniform taste or quality from company to company. Worse yet, the price paid also demonstrates no relationship with taste and quality. Perhaps then, the answer predominantly lies with the art of the roaster!

This my Sunday coffee or for an award for getting up earlier than I want coffee. Even though this is an expensive coffee I reccomend that you use it regularly when you get it, other wise it will lose that special aroma and taste. It's REALLY good.

Subtle, smooth, sweet and delicate. The best coffee I have ever tasted. I've had Jamaican Blue Mountain before, but either my palate hadn't developed enough to sense the exquisite subtleties of JBM, or it wasn't as good as Boca Java's--which is first-rate.

I was lucky to be apart of the free bag of coffee (whole bean), upon receiving it I decided to get the new roast a test. I was absolutely amazed at how good this coffee was. The aroma was incredible, the smoothness and bold flavor of the coffee was incredible. Shortly after finishing the bag I mentioned to my wife it was probably the best coffee I ever had, then I went to order more and saw the price. Though it is expensive, it is worth it, and the price makes sense for the unique and rich flavors of this coffee. At a minimal, it's worth buying just to try. But I will say, it is one of the best roasts I have ever tasted.

This is the coffee I quit Boca Java over. I would never have knowingly bought 8 oz of coffee for [$]and was shocked to see this on my credit card bill. This happened twice; the first I claimed as my mistake (I failed to notice the price?), the second I put on Boca. Their return policy is a joke and I was on the hook for most of that [$]a pound coffee (good but not worth [$]...maybe $15 or $20 a pound) So after 2-3 years of monthly deliveries, I quit. If you don't like me including pricing fine. You lost a longstanding customer over this highway robbery bean.

I use Duncan Donuts whole bean coffee regularly. I tried your coffee a few years ago. I found DD coffee to be superior then. I responded to your emailed promo for free Jamacan blue mountain. It is supposed to be THE best. An I doing something wrong? All of your blends, including the Jamacan, taste inferior to the duncan donuts coffee. All are brewed the same with a moleka coffee funnel.

Though this is a better than average coffee, it was unbalanced, had an over woody flavor with earthy notes, and finished acidic.
I did not find it nearly worth the premium I paid, and I would much prefer a 100% Kauain or Kona coffee. If you must try it, get enough for one pot before you commit to an entire bag.
Personally, I enjoy coffee from Papua New Guinea because it is well balanced, sweet, and has floral overtones.

I have enjoyed Blue Mountain coffee before and this did not meet up to its standards. Even the famous retailer (the one that is popping up at every corner) coffee version is better than this and I don't like their coffee

The coffee is good as we had it from Jamaica when we went for a wedding, however, here it is too expensive. I recvd a email for my purchase of this coffee and another for [$] and I fell off my chair. [...] I did call and told them that the same coffee in jamaica costs between 8-12 dollars. The price on Boca is rediculous. No coffee is that good.

This coffee required more beans than usual for the taste to be correct. If not enough beans are used a bitter taste is encountered. Did not brew well via drip, required french press to get the full flavor. Would not recommend if you don't have a french press.
