I've ground my own coffee for 30 years, and have tried many different vendors, local and mail order. This coffee is way too lightly roasted: the flavor is greatly diminished and frankly ruined because of it. Too bad.

Was very disappointed that the pleasant aroma didn't predict a well-balanced flavorful cup of coffee. Using the recommended amounts of coffee gave me a very weak brew. I had to double the normal amounts to get a cup of coffee I could enjoy. I don't know why this is listed as a medium roast, it's not. I won't buy this one again and I certainly won't recommend it.

While this is a nice coffee, it is a bit on the strong and dark side for a medium roast. I was actually quite surprised by just how much it was the first time I made it.
Aside from that, the flavor is good. So if you like your coffee assertive, this one's for you. If not, I recommend cutting this with something else (as I now do) or choosing a different coffee.

Decades ago, when I couldn't decide between Maxwell House and Folgers, I had a friend who was stationed at Grissom Air Force Base and flew to Panama several times a year. He brought me back some coffee once, and I was hooked. No American "house" brand has been good enough since. For me this coffee is not only full of flavor, but also full of nostalgia. I still prefer a dark roast, and earthy bean, but for someone looking for great taste and new beginnings - check out this Panamanian Perfecto.

I lived in Panama for a while and the coffee's grown in the mountains are all good. Cerro Azul was the best growing region when I was there. Must be some beans from there because of the wonderful aroma and smooth taste.

I find this an irrisistable cup of coffee, we use a perculator we bought for camping. After the first cup brewed on our campfire we have never been able to make coffee anyother way. We use our stove to brew now, smells great and tastes even better.

We've used this for our morning wake up coffee. It's a very strong dark flavor and pops us right awake. We like strong coffees and this fits right it. It's strongly acidic, though I don't think sharp, but if you have a weak stomach you may want to dilute with lots of cream, otherwise enjoy the great flavor and the instant wake up.

I drink coffee on a daily basis and I love the taste of this coffee. It isn't bitter at all. Some coffees and coffee chains have extremely bitter coffee. This coffee leaves me with a refreshing feeling and does not have a bad after taste. My only complaint is there isn't more beans in the bag.

This coffee is not my favorite. I order it because other people like a strong, acidic, black coffee. I must drown in with cream and sweetners to be able to drink it, and it still upsets my stomach. I would say if you like aggressively robust black coffee, this is for you. I think it tatses burnt, but I know my husband and his military buddies love it! I would recommend it to certain friends.

For a med. roast it is a good coffee, if I drink more than 2 cups I get some effects from the acid. I prefer a darker roast just becuase the acid is much lower. The FRESH roast is very refreshing and the smell is wonderful.
