I have to admit I bought this one because I couldn't imagine bacon in my coffee. WITH my coffee, yes. IN my coffee... not so much. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was GOOD. There is just a hint of bacon in the aroma, but the flavor is more of the maple without being sickeningly sweet. I would like to have had a little more bacon flavor to the brew.

While the coffee itself was quite good (and most coffees that have flavor added are not stellar to begin with) there was very, very little of the bacon or maple qualities in the resulting brew. It smelled *heavenly* when we opened the bag and we'd hoped that some of that would come through the brewing process, but while the coffee was smooth and pleasant, it was distinctly non-maple/bacony. (We made 4 5oz cups in a stainless steel electric percolator. Next time, we'll use the standard coffee maker with unbleached paper filters and see if we get different results.)

I first used this coffee at my school where I teach and it was a hit. At first, the teachers were saying things like,"that'sounds sick", "it's what?", and "you have gone too far." After tasting the coffee, they were wanting more, but there wasn't anymore.

We couldn't resist trying this coffee! The aroma smells like bacon, the flavor is coffee! I was scared to try this to say the least but with our eggs in the morning, it was the perfect compliment! Don't be scared to try it. It's definetly worth a baby Bocca for starters.

Would enjoy it if stronger flavor with breakfast. Wouldn't sound good after breakfast which limits it to the morning coffee. The aroma was wonderful - reminded me of a stack full of pancakes with maple syrup.
