Terrific flavor, new leaf cut too small.
I love this Chai. It has the best flavor combination I have ever found. I drink it both with soy milk as a latte, and black (very similar to Ethiopian spiced tea) with lemon and honey.
However, the size of the new leaf cut is too small - so small that quite a bit filters through tea balls and strainers and into the cup. I do NOT use environmentally unfriendly throw-away paper or fabric filters that will end up in our landfills, so don't know how it fares this way.

the Bags are better
The loose tea is alot of trouble and I can't use it at work. I prefer the bags and usually use a couple a day when I feel like I am gearing down. The loose tea is something that I have to make at home and since a tea strainer is a pain, I use the coffee pot and make a whole pitcher at a time and throw half of it out. I won't be buying more until the bags return.

My wife and I have been enjoying this tea mostly in the morning but it would great anytime. Just the right amount of spices and is especially delicious as a latte if you are able to steam your own milk.

one of the best chai teas I have ever had! Great aroma, wonderful flavors that dance across your tongue and tingle your nose. This tea is strong enough to use in the keurig k-cup that you fill with your own tea or coffee using the large cup setting on the keurig machine and is just as great using a tea ball in a teapot. You can sweeten with honey and/or add milk for a latte.

I have noticed a change in the tea as well as the packaging. The new packaging is good - no more breakage! However the tea is now a finely ground mix and I did like the flavor of the old blend better. This is ok but can get bitter and strong very easily.

I tried this tea the first time in the evening, and found it perfect for a calming and soothing evening drink. Then in the morning, not as wonderful for first thing, but not bad. My favorite time is after a stressful afternoon, make a pot, read and be soothed by the clear, smooth and fruity flavor. Just opening the container is an aromatic joy.
