This is by far one of my favorite coffee's from Bocajava. I was disappointed when they removed it from my automatic order and thrilled enough to buy 10 bags of whole bean coffee for my freezer just in case it goes away again. This is a very versatile coffee. Great if you don't know the coffee tastes of your guests. Strong enough for those who like strong coffee yet exceptionally smooth on the palette so even those who like light coffee will be pleased.
The low acidity of this coffee means you can drink it any time, even if you are one of those who usually can't drink coffee on an empty stomach.
I like it black and/or I like it with a little cream or Frangelica.
Probably the best coffee I have brewed for Iced Coffee. If you haven't tried it, now is the time to fall in love with a new favorite!

I couldn't wait to try this one after seeing the glowing reviews, but I have to say that I was disappointed. This is supposed to be a medium roast, but it seemed like a very light one to us. We had to use nearly twice as much coffee as usual to get a nice strong pot. It tasted fine, but it isn't anything special. And it certainly doesn't compare to Sumatran Sunset (our favorite).

I list myself as discriminating, which means I am developing my coffee palate. I was intrigued by the 'hints of chocolate and nut' description of this coffee. I have to say either they were too delicate, or I am simply not developed enough to taste them. Either way, we found this unexceptional with a slightly off aftertaste.
