I use a coffee grinder to bring out the flavor of the bean and make the coffee with an automatic drip coffee maker. I loved this coffee better than the other coffees that I received. It doesn't really taste like chocolate and that is what I like about it.

This is a very nice coffee to start your day with. It is one of my husbands favorites. Doesn't loose its flavor or taste even when it has been in a thermos most of the day. Has a nice acidity level so doesn't play havoc with your stomach, whether you have drank one cup or a couple pots.

Mocha-Java has been claimed to be the world's oldest blend. I believe its true because the aroma and flavor that result have made this my very favorite for decades. Bocajava does an excellent job with their version but there is a subtle spiciness that I have never tasted before in other blends that some purists might object to. I find it quite pleasant!

Nice taste, to be honest, a bit dissapointing as this was the 3rd BocaJava blend I tried after the Caramel & White Chocolate Raspberry and I was expecing a bit more novelty flavour. However, I pitted this one up against regular Folgers and I have to say, I can't belive I've been drinking that garbage for the last 20 years. While not a novelty flavour, this is still an excellent blend!

I have been drinking this product both during my meditation period before breakfast and for breakfast, finishing it by late morning. I have found it a good coffee, but was initially a bit disappointed that the mocha flavor was not more defined. I do like the Indonesian hint, as I loved Balinese coffee both while in Bali and afterwards in 2005, some of the people of Bali who had served me at a restaurant having sent some home with me to enjoy there.

I like getting whole beans, then I grind a little at a time, depending on if I drip an individual cup, perc or use the drip filter. The beans hold up well keeping them in the freezer.

I drink coffee 3 or 4 times a week for the caffeine when I have to go in to work early. This product has a nice smell to wake up to (I set my maker the night before) and is very smooth. I do wish there was more of a chocolate flavor--I'm pretty sure that's supposed to the the Mocha part of the name. Oh well, it's still really good and I'll buy it again.

I found this coffee to lend itself well to French Press as well as to drip. For French Press you don't need to grind too fine for a rich flavor to come through. It's a well balanced coffee whether dripped or pressed. I like to mix it 3:1 with the Surfing Safari for nice, light sweet kick in the morning.

I have been ordering and drinking Boca Mocha Java for several years. I get a shipment monthly, and before the next month, it's always gone. Everyone in my family loves it as a basic morning or mid-afternoon coffee. The only con I can think of is that it smells very strong, like espresso, which for me is not something I really like. I use the coffee to get me up and moving in the morning. The whole house smells wonderful while it brews. The flavor is so full, and that hint of chocolate is to die for, that it requires very little cream, just a touch of sugar and it's perfection. I order through out the year and give the coffee as gifts. My friends can't wait for Christmas to roll around, cause they know they're going to get this coffee.

Usually one of my favorite blends, a little less time in the roaster might fix this one. Will try again some other day.
Mocha refers to the African beans in the blend, not chocolate.

This is one of the best coffees I have ever had. The flavors are all natural and they flow together in such a way as to create a sense of perfection.
