Description

Drink Locally, Deliver Relief Globally!

Each bag sold provides $60 of Medical Relief

Luxurious and highly prized, our Kenya AA Arabica coffee beans produce this superb coffee with dry, winy character, often found in this African coffee-growing region. Our single origin Kenya C.U.R.E Coffee delivers a bright finish with a hint of black currant and citrus fruits also characteristic of the Arabica coffee beans in the region.

Support our Program today by buying, brewing and enjoying a bag (or two) of Project C.U.R.E. Coffee.

Boca Java has partnered directly with coffee farmers and Project C.U.R.E. to offer you fresh roasted, delicious estate grown coffees that deliver critical medical relief to coffee-growing communities and countries. Help us make a difference one cup at a time!

These coffees are sourced through a Direct Trade relationship with farmers and co-ops in Kenya. This means that we go direct to origin and pay a premium price directly to the farmers. This ensures we can source the best beans, but also it means that these farmers (who typically live in poverty) get more money in their pockets to put back into their communities and the environment. Watch our Direct Trade, Coffees-for-a-Cause Video to learn more. Or read more about Direct Trade Here.

Most of the coffees from Nyeri develop and mature slowly producing extra hard beans. This quality is also evident in the cup. This is why Nyeri is traditionally known as the heart of Kenya's coffee produce.

Nyeri County has cool temperatures and fertile central highlands, lying between the Eastern base of the Aberdare (Nyandaruo) Range, which forms part of the Eastern end of the Great Rift Valley, and the Western slopes of Mt. Kenya. Nyeri town (county headquarters) acts as a destination for those visiting Aberdare National Park and Mt. Kenya.

I was introduced to this coffee when the First Lady of Kenya visited Phoenix on behalf of Project C.U.R.E.Samples of the coffee were on the table and the coffee was served during the luncheon. It was delicious and I was impressed that I could also donate to project C.U.R.E. Through monthly purchases. I have introduced this coffee to a few friends who love it. Hopefully I can convince them to make their own purchases in the future.
